GTi PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are a move away from the traditional strip lashes that everyone has painstakingly tried to apply at one time or another. Instead, these are individual lashes which are added to the client’s own natural lash for a truly fabulous effect. Clients can achieve anything from dramatically sweeping lashes to a generally thicker and fuller effect. Victoria Winham offers both Classic Eyelash Extension and Russian Volume Eyelash Extension application.
These courses will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional eyelash extension treatment and includes a practical training session and assessment.
Both courses follow the National Occupational Standards. The Classic Eyelash Extension course covers the technique for eyelash extension application for both individual and flare eyelash extensions. The Russian Volume covers fanning and the application of Russian Volume eyelash extensions as well as the correct removal and maintenance of lashes.
These courses include the correct application of eyelash extensions and stages required to achieve a perfect set, anatomy and physiology of the hair and eye, contra-indications and contra-actions to treatment and consultation and aftercare advice. Both Eyelash Extensions courses include the GTi Professional Standards course, required to be taken before practical training. A certificate is available on completion.
This GTi Award is fully accredited for insurance and membership by the Guild of Beauty Therapist’s, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
The courses are clearly written and accompanied by images, video and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF and printed manual which you can refer back to. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available. Photographs and diagrams ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform this very popular treatment.
The technique modules will also be assessed by a one-day assessment with Victoria Winham.
On completion of either course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate.
