1. About us
These terms and conditions apply to Victoria Winham, a sole trader providing lash and brow treatments and training services, based at The Studio, 17 Sir John Killick Road, Ashford, Kent, TN23 3SL.
By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us at victoriawinham@hotmail.co.uk.
2. Our services
We offer the following services:
- Lash and brow treatments carried out at our studio
- Training courses in lash and brow techniques
All services are subject to availability and a consultation where appropriate. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we do not feel a treatment is suitable for you.
3. Bookings and appointments
Appointments are confirmed once we have been in contact and a booking has been agreed. We will confirm your appointment by email or phone.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your treatment.
4. Cancellations and no-shows
We understand that plans can change. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows may result in us requiring a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.
5. Patch tests
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before certain treatments, including lash and brow tinting. If you do not attend a patch test or disclose a relevant allergy or medical condition, we reserve the right to refuse treatment.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions or medications that may affect your suitability for treatment.
6. Results and aftercare
Results may vary depending on your natural lashes, brows, skin type and how well you follow aftercare advice. We will provide aftercare guidance after your appointment and ask that you follow it carefully to maintain results and avoid complications.
We cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions or from undisclosed medical conditions.
7. Training courses
Training course bookings are confirmed upon payment or agreement of payment terms. Course dates are subject to availability and may be rescheduled with reasonable notice.
Course materials provided are for personal professional use only and must not be resold, shared or reproduced without our written permission.
8. Pricing and payment
Prices for treatments and courses are as displayed on our website or confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to update our prices at any time, though any agreed price at the point of booking will be honoured.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance.
9. Liability
We take every care to provide treatments safely and professionally. However, we cannot accept liability for:
- Allergic reactions where a patch test was not carried out at your request or where relevant information was not disclosed
- Results affected by undisclosed medical conditions or medications
- Loss or damage to personal belongings while at our studio
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Use of our website
Our website is provided for information purposes. We make every effort to keep content accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee it is free from errors. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content.
You must not use our website in any way that is unlawful, harmful or that infringes the rights of others.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images and branding, is owned by or licensed to Victoria Winham. You may not reproduce or use our content without written permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date of the last update.
